1/ Has anyone been noticing an increasing amount of disturbing content in their youtube feed ?

I have now tried this using multiple accounts from friends and family : you search for an innocuous term like "crochet". The first few results are ok. And then you start getting horrible videos about animal abuse, puss oozing out of people's faces and so forth.
