"Born in the USA", just like actually being born in the USA, fucking sucks #AlbumBowl

While I'm Springsteenposting today, y'all should listen to Dessa's dark, smoldering cover of "I'm Going Down". Really brings some emotional punch that's lacking in the original, IMO.

Oh fuck, what's the baseball word for when the guy throws it fast?

Like the pitcher, he throws a ball, and throws it really fast?? Fuck, it's on the tip of my tongue.

It's a fast, speedy, uh, Speedball! Yeah, Speedball. That sounds right.

My favorite album of 1984, Heartbeat City (all tied up in my head in young lust/romance), didn't have a chance of winning #AlbumBowl , but I'm honestly baffled by vapid Purple Rain beating Born in the USA, which if there's any year where a howling scream that shit is not all right because fucking Republicans have destroyed our planet, it's this fucking one.
I'm very disgruntled that Van Halen's 1984 won't win the 1984 #AlbumBowl. It should've been in the final against the inevitable winner Purple Rain, at least, but instead will settle for a pooey finish. REM has no business in the finals, and, at least to me, the same could be said of Springsteen. The Boss? More like The Loss. *crotch chop motions*
