The new production of #TheWiz, which has just launched its national tour in #Baltimore, will arrive on #Broadway with previews beginning March 29, 2024 at the #MarquisTheatre, with an opening night set for April 17. #WayneBrady will take over the title role from #AlanMingoJr.

The #Broadway-bound revival of #TheWiz has finally found its Dorothy. Virginia native #NichelleLewis has been cast in the role after being discovered on TikTok among 2,000 submissions. The tour will launch at Baltimore's #HippodromeTheatre on September 23 with #DeborahCox in the role of Glinda and #AlanMingoJr as The Wiz (#WayneBrady will take over on Broadway).
