Imagine a space station with a space elevator in geo orbit, letting down a hook/rail and a contra-weight the other way to keep balance. Letting is down as low as physically possible. The Airship can just reach it and attaches a payload capsule, the elevator wheels it in and places the capsule along one of the airlocks of the station… decommissioning an old capsule works the same way in reverse…
