Software development may be a foreign country for the business. To gain trust we need accountability.
To be on time 100% of the time we need to multiple the estimates by a factor of six.
Better to have no estimates than wrong estimates.
It is still guesses at the end of the day. But it is better to have some model than a perfect model.

In part 1, I've managed to tick off 0 out of the 10 things... if this rate keeps up, that means it'll take an infinite number of posts until I'm finished. Despite that, I'm still feeling confident I'm going to complete this series by the end of the quarter.
