As Midori, a class rep and game store worker, she served to introduce our other main characters to the world of board games while also developing her own character and skills as a game developer. Tomita's usual snark is in Midori, but tempered with a warmth and passion for making the most exciting game she can create.
In 2019, MAO embraced her gaijin side by playing Emilia in #afterschooldiceclub. A German-Irish-Japanese transfer student, Emilia quickly slots into the group with her love of games and bubbly nature. Putting on an appropriate but never overbearing accent, MAO does an excellent job of making Emilia feel like a three-dimensional character even with the limited screen time she has.
