Reposting from LinkedIn in case I know anyone here going to AWS re:Invent.

Flying out to #awsreinvent2023 and just caught by how crazy my journey here has been. First year attending as a customer, the Hackathon absolutely changed my life. A few years later attending as an AWS speaker and finding that some of my most impactful skills were around communicating and educating, skills I accidentally learned while at Lockheed (thanks Jon Williams and Donnell Smith, PMP). And now all these years later as #AWSpartners spending my time building bridges; bridges with clients, with partners, with technical experts and executive alike; bridges around technology, around strategy, but most importantly bridges with people.

If you told the guy sitting behind the Cisco router console 15 years ago that the most important thing he would be doing is talking to people he would have first shuttered, then laughed. As the person who knew he wanted to go into IT ever since grade school, I could never have imagined just where that path would take me. I'm grateful for all of it, and I'm no where near done (which can be both exciting and exhausting to think about).

So the best thing I can offer now is an just an offer of help. If you're at re:invent this week and want to talk, please feel free to hit me up here, stop by the #Capgemini booth (I'll be there Tuesday and Wednesday), or stop me if you see me to say hi. I'm excited to learn what AWS has been up to, but more than that I'm excited to catch up with my colleagues, my peers, and my friends. See you all next week.
