Made some updates to https://github.com/ninarao/webvtt_metadata:
- Can now embed #FADGI #metadata in #WebVTT files using a csv, header data from an associated parent file, and/or an optional default metadata set
- Local usage elements can be added to the csv as needed
- Can create/update FADGI header for WebVTT files that have been human-reviewed
Feedback welcome! I've tested for various scenarios but there are many nested conditionals so I may have missed something.

National Recording Preservation Foundation Grants $16,356 to Support Preservation of At-Risk Audio Recordings
The NRPF will award two grants to support the preservation of important American archival audio collections, including recordings of significant American religious figures as well as early underwater scientific recordings.

Realized that in my current workflow, every field in the #FADGI WebVTT #metadata except two can be auto-generated or hard-coded, so I made a script that runs #Whisper, generates FADGI metadata and optionally pulls the last two fields from a csv, and adds it to the output. It's written for use at my institution but could be easily adapted:

(I also learned that Whisper via Python uses greedy search by default instead of beam, so I adjusted that too.)
JuliaDid someone had issues with #MXF video files from #DavinciResolve 20? There's a global alarm in film libraries / #videoarchives on dead frames and color information loss. If so, have you used #qctools to detect it?
