Day 4 (Jan 4): BAROQUE – "Now That's More Like Barc!"

Building on yesterday's template by adding an oboe, I'm diving further into the classical realm, specifically a baroque-inspired piece.

Saturday's too short, so it isn't finished yet. But I think it's too good to give up on at this point, so it will be a two-parter: Hopefully I'll finish it and post a new update tomorrow.

Day 3 (Jan 3): CHAMBER MUSIC – "Neither Barc Nor Bacharolle"

Something south-European about this, methinks! After yesterday's unmitigated disaster, I decided to limit my choices: It's basically a string quartet in sonata form. I already had the template; and the sonata prevents me from complete aimlessness.

Bliss! A much better fit for this project.

I have always failed these challenges so trying with the easiest one of 'em. What can be easier than posting #ASongADay, that too, to a prompt?

Day #1: A Song you like with a color in the title.

Black Magic Woman. #FleetwoodMac

Santana's cover probably made this way more popular, but for me, Peter Green's original bluesy version remains untouchable. And it took me 1.5 decades to find that (I also came to the song thanks to Santana)
