With #ANZACDay 2026 disappearing I was surprised by having a mention of the Mucky Duck Bush Band flit across my path, which had me wondering where a sallow youth who'd played Heart Like A Wheel at the Stables folk night on the steep Malcolm Street in Perth had got to.
Discovered that he died in 2025, though the band lives on. And found a vid.

Certain subjects carry their composition with them. The bearing this officer has comes from training that became instinct years ago — not performed for the camera, simply how they stand.
