This is the only #MissMarple film or tv episode that has ever made me cry - every time I watch it as well. SPOILER: the scene where the innocent #Hinchcliffe is murdered makes me weep & sob every single time. #GeraldineMcEwan's emotive performance clutches at my heart-strings, perhaps yours too...

I did not like my 13th #AgathaChristie book - "A Murder is Announced" (1050) - featuring Miss Marple... and a lot of boredom. I started this book back in June and it's taken me this long to get through.
Murder takes place at newspaper advertised date/time. It does. "A plot as ingenious as ever." Maybe it's just not my thing, I guess.
Felt like quite a bit of filler along the way - and not a lot of actual Miss Marple. Next!
