The U.S. Census Bureau published 2024 5-year #ACSdata today. This is the big annual release that covers more than 40 subjects at a variety of geographic levels. The release was originally scheduled for December, but was delayed because of the federal government shutdown last fall.

One of the Data Book's new indicators is Living Arrangements of Older Adults. Using Census Bureau #ACSdata, it looks at whether people 65 and older live alone, with a spouse or partner, with a child or other relative, or with a non-relative.
As an example of what's available in the #ACSdata, we compared the number of people working from home in the latest release (2019-2023) with the number in the previous non-overlapping release (2014-2018). Here's how that looks for #CuyahogaCounty communities.
