Hannah Wilson is doing amazing on Jeopardy! so far, but I've got to challenge or at least qualify her statement that she's the 18th-best crossword player. The American Crossword Puzzle Tournament now has both an online and an in-person tournament. She must be talking about the online tournament because I participated in the ACPT in 2022 and 2023 in person in Stamford and she wasn't there.

Came in 73rd out of 775 at #ACPT this weekend! My goal was seven clean puzzles, which has never happened for me at ACPT, and it didn't happen this year either.

I made one error in two puzzles. The first error I don't think I would have gotten right if I'd had more time - it was just an unfamiliar crossing. The other error I definitely would have caught if I'd just taken more time to look over my answers. I would have lost just 25 points in taking more time instead of the 195-point penalty.
