This fanfic is very near and dear to my heart and life in general since all my bull shit kinda started kicking my ass. So I kinda hit a point where it was too "precious" to work on because of being terrified I would "ruin" it. But honestly? I think even after all these years, I don't feel a sense of regret or cringe at a single chapter when I look back. Have there been minor goofs in terms of keeping track of smaller details? Yeah, and they annoy me a little but there's not really anything there that bothers me so much that I feel ashamed about it or something.
And of course, plugging my fanfic and its current status for some well-deserved humble bragging. ; 3
I've gotten a big surge of inspiration and confidence for my main fanfic, "an Angel on Princess Street". I had already had the next few chapters planned out well for quite a while, but was filled with anxiety and imposter syndrome over the idea of "disappointing people" if the writing quality had dipped or suddenly changed. Honestly, it's not even an irrational fear because it has happened to me before with our art at least. And for that fanfic in particular,I've had a lot of meaningful reception and feedback to it that has basically caused my stage fright.
