Idea Factory International is excited to reveal the 9 R.I.P. sequel Opening Movie Trailer as well as the bonus trading card pack that will be included in all Standard Editions through the IFI Online Store and participating retailers. The game is set to release on Nintendo Switch in 2026.

Fans can watch the new Opening Movie Trailer showcasing all 9 love interests with the full opening song.

Bonus Trading Card Pack Included with the Standard Edition

9 R.I.P. sequel will have a bonus trading card pack included with the Standard Edition featuring the 9 love interests. The trading card pack included with the physical Standard Edition will be available at all retailers and on the IFI Online Store, while supplies last.

The bonus trading card pack includes:

• Set of 9 cards
  • 1 random holographic
  • 8 regular finish

9 R.I.P. Sequel will also have a Limited Edition that you can wishlist today. The contents of the Limited Edition will be revealed at a later date.

Idea Factory International Announces 9 R.I.P. Sequel for Localization Coming 2026!

After a week of teasing on social media, Idea Factory International has finally announced the awaited localization of the otome title, 9 R.I.P. Sequel.

The otome visual novel 9 R.I.P. sequel, will be launching on Nintendo Switch™ physically and digitally in 2026! The sequel will feature 9 full routes, including direct continuations of the previous Heavenly and Godly Endings from 9 R.I.P. 

Additionally, the sequel introduces new sub characters and bonus content that can be unlocked as fans navigate through the story. Fans can watch the new Announcement Trailer  showcasing all 9 love interests from the first game, alongside a preview of new sub characters in the story.

Following the endings of 9 R.I.P., Misa Isshiki finds herself at a crossroads with navigating romantic life and the consequences of her actions during her second year of high school. New challenges await depending on the route taken…

A Limited Edition Will be Available for 9 RIP Sequel!

9 R.I.P sequel will be getting a Limited Edition available at the IFI Online Store. Contents will be announced at a later date. Fans can head to the IFI Online Store and wishlist both the Standard and Limited Edition today.
