Some recent prints. Still using the archives.

The first Ive hemmed and hawed about posting. Taken after the 2022 christmas blizzard where the city lost 40+ citizens. The wound for some is still healing, for others it was barely a scratch. The second is another from the minds eye.

Attempted positive scans of negative film developed with a homemade developer.
-+-+-+-
These were developed in a very simple ascorbic acid, sodium carbonate, and poke berry juice developer. Unfortunately as the film dried it darkened beyond the capabilities of the transparency unit of the scanner and required an external light source. I speculate that there was silver remaining on the film that stayed due to the phenols in the poke berry, despite an extended fix, and thats why the film continued to darken.
The final frame was included because it looks cool.

Images from the C41 Development class this past weekend at CEPA Gallery. My first time developing color film.

I was trying to capture colors around the otherwise classical black and white Market Arcade. We did a modified development with the Cinestill C41 kit. Colors came out well, though there was a bit of base fog, in my opinion, that scanner software autoexposed for.
