I'd tried plotting one of my pen test swatches onto my iPad using the Apple Pencil a few weeks back and noticed more wiggle to the lines than I'd seen on paper. Presumably some combo of the plotter motors, the iPad digitizer, the low friction of the pencil, and the software made the effect more obvious.
I fed input from the iPad back to the plotter repeatedly to see if it would amplify the effect.

Each iteration added more little imperfections from the plotter, leading to a meandering and shaky line by the end. The final plot on paper is all 15 iterations layered together. #36daysoftype #penplotter"
