I can't remember who mentioned only being able to get #360p on #NewPipe, but I'm watching at 1080p on #PipePipe (a newpipe clone) now, so hopefully it's fixed on the latest NewPipe as well.
Make sure you're using NewPipe's own f-droid repo, or the #IzzyOnDroid one. I'm a big fan of using #FDroid's builds, but you gotta "chase the bram" on stuff like this.
