सव्वीस जानेवारी 1950 रोजी भारतीय संविधानाचा अंमल सुरू झाल्यावर भारत सार्वभौम, प्रजासत्ताक झाला. तेव्हापासूनच दरवर्षी 26 जानेवारीला देशभर प्रजासत्ताक दिनी वेगवेगळ्या कार्यक्रमांचं आयोजन केलं जाऊ लागलं. त्या कार्यक्रमांपैकी सर्वात मुख्य कार्यक्रम असतो नवी दिल्लीत आयोजित होणारे संचलन आणि अन्य कार्यक्रम. हा सोहळा मी 30 वर्षांपूर्वी पहिल्यांदा दूरदर्शनवर पाहिला होता आणि तेव्हाच मला तो प्रचंड भावलाही.
