@amin Contrast ratio is probably the terminology I need to be yelling about - thanks!

Assuming I'm grabbing the right hexcodes in dev tools - the dividing line is #282828, and the background I grabbed through color picker is #1f1f1f for a grand total of 1.12 contrast ratio.

No wonder I've hated this UI so much, how does that make it through any form of QA/UI testing at a large company?
