Apparently just last month the railroad company finally raised the track. A trestle down the track was 8" higher than the overpass, so they raised the overpass to the level of the bridge.

It's not nearly enough to fit all trucks through, but I think that's enough that it will clear a significant chunk of rental trucks that seem to form the bulk of the destruction. Perhaps less so for RV air-conditioning units.

Time will tell how many unaware drivers run their vehicles into the newly raised trestle! #11ft8
