Been using Mastodon for a month now, and what can I say except it just became my favourite social?
As a programmer I've started following mostly open source projects which I'm quite fond of.
The only bad thing I've found is too much US politics on the Explore page, but managed to remove it using filters, so it's all good.
It gives information without being addictive - I still open it a lot to see if someone posted, but I don't end up doom scrolling.
Just wish more people knew about it
