Do not confuse welfare with Universal Basic Income. If you get $1k in welfare does it make sense to take a $1k job, lose your welfare and end up with the same $1k? No.

If you get $1k UBI, does it make sense to take a $1k job and end up with $2k? Yes.

PSA - THIS IS IMPORTANT

so, looking at just the people who boosted my recent fedi blowup post, at least 3 MDNI ACCOUNTS are on there

like... i'm a minor? i don't think you should be interacting with my posts if you don't want me to interact with your posts because of my age

as per my specified directives i will now add 3 warning signs to the sides of the warning in my bio that i'm a minor and put "[MINOR]" in my display name for 3 days

tl;dr if you don't want minors interacting with your posts, DON'T interact with minors

edit: okay somehow after i added all that extremely clear shit 7 more mdni accounts showed up, even editing the og post just to ward some of them off wasn't enough
