Cars are surprisingly easy to fix, and the older they are the easier it is. You can easily find manuals to service and even repair cars, but you'll struggle to find such good info on most other things. Start by servicing your car yourself and go from there.
Shout out to #Anthropic for changing the pricing in a non-transparent way. I run claude code review on PRs and it's used all its quota a week into the month.
Hacker ethics question: If you've done a penetration test for a company in the past, but you later find a critical bug that existed during the penetration test, is it morally acceptable to call in the bounty?
@metacurity I misread but tbh any amount of years in prison is too many for theft, it's inhumane. I don't really understand why people get so bloodthirsty about exacting revenge from convicted criminals. Understandable if he's a Trump supporter though.
@metacurity bit harsh to hope they're denied a job if all they did was steal a bunch of bitcoin and have already served a ten year sentence.
@Em0nM4stodon Back in the 80s there was a movement to stop digital music as people thought it was killing art. None of it lasts, only things made by other humans spark joy.
@NiwlCraft I feel like if they were really solarpunk they'd learn how to make the art themselves if it means that much to them
@ChrisMayLA6 People and institutions being sensible and hedging against all that risk does significantly mitigate the bubble effect. Retail investors will probably be the most affected as the instruments for hedging against AI stocks are limited in that world and many won't even know how to do it.
