TROM II: A Message to the Aliens (2023)

Ok people, the documentary is finally available. Please keep your expectations low and keep in mind that this documentary is made mostly by one human being, with limited resources. We have not used any stock footage (except maybe 2-3) so everything you'll see is real and genuine.

Also, keep in mind that this is not the beginning or the end of anything, but a continuation of our work for this TROM project. We will create more materials and projects.

It's unexplainably satisfying how the 3 stars of Orion's Belt are just in a "line" :o There's so many stars but those 3 just stand out somehow. The universe is made of lots of color, both natural and assigned, like those in images from #NASAWebb (our eyes can’t detect infrared light!).

#JWST picture of the month: LEDA 2046648, A Spiral Amongst Thousands.

The large spiral galaxy at the base of the image is located 1.1 billion light-years away in constellation Hercules, in a sector of the sky that we are mapping in our ongoing analyses of the Cosmicflows-4 data.

I shot the "green comet" (C/2022 E3) that's been in the media recently. It makes its closest approach to Earth on Wednesday, Feb 1st. It was only faintly visible with the naked eye in dark skies, but a two-hour exposure shows the greenish glow from carbon gas and a rarely seen antitail.
