In the latest NVAccess in process, they wrote a very well-reason and balance policy on the use of AI when writing add-ons. I like it. They must be getting flooded with hate posts from anti AI absolutists right about now.
Can someone explain to me why, after a fresh restart, with no apps running at startup except for my screen reader, windows is taking 11GB of RAM? This is not normal right? When in the hell did running an OS got to be so resource intenssive

Blind people now have AI image description and these days a Blind person will send another Blind person just an AI description of a selfie, with no source photo. In the complex AI discourse i would just like to say that AI image description has changed the game for Blind folks. It's a hell of a ride at age 43 to read my first picture book and first graphic novel. AI is complicated but textualizing images is brilliant
