New urban transport connecting Bratislava's midcentury modernism icons: Took a ride from former Hotel Kyjev (vacant many years) to Petržalka with the #Active2PublicTransport project. #Bratislava finished #tram line 3 to #Petržalka, one of the largest panel housings in Central #Europe. Instead of a underground line - originally planned in the 1980ies but never finished - the green and open spaces are now connected with green tracks above ground, along with generous paths for #walking and #cyling

found out that the square with the beautiful terrazzo was designed by #elementarna #architecture studio - they won the Slovenia Plecnik Prize 2025 for architecture for the renovation of old glassworks into a event location together with the surrounding public spaces, especially Vrazov Trg for open air concerts next to the music house.
