This is a wonderfully eclectic mix of tunes from psychedelic to electronic to some groovy flamenco, and a great exploration of what's happening across the world of faircamp powered sites.

I have terrible astigmatism and, consequently, really odd prescription glasses. If someone else puts them on, they stagger about like they are seasick.

Even when wearing my glasses, it's still pretty bad.

But, I just discovered, that if I press on my left temple in a specific place while wearing my glasses, my vision suddenly improves massively, and becomes much sharper, especially for reading.

I don't know what to make of this.

Had a chance to try out @limebar 's preview embedding script for faircamp sites. I've tried it out on my preview site, that I use for playing with the site etc.

I use a very simple 'build site' script that just calls faircamp, then runs limebar's script in one command

This is a really neat & easy solution to use! I'll use it with my main site next time I update it

I've been playing with my faircamp site, trying to get an embedded player working on mastodon.

It turns out that you can do it by adding a couple of lines of HTML to a faircamp page.

But I prefer a short, seperate HTML file to generate the player card, so I can add that file anywhere on my site, and don't need to edit faircamp pages.

Notes here if anyone wants to try it. (Note: it doesn't work on all fedi clients. It works on the mastodon web app though.)

I just realised that I miss horses. When I was you know, young, there were horses all around. A bloke down our street kept some horses on on the common land nearby. I had a paper round (all uphill now that I think about it) and there was an old lady who would wait for me to arrive with her paper & always ask me to give an apple to a horse from her, which I always did.

Sometimes the horses would get a bit excitable and escape, and we would find there was suddenly an agitated horse in our garden.
