Meta's blunder with #democrat hashtag looks exactly the same as when #russia played with censorship in their early days. Instead of shadow-banning (aka lowering the ranking score) of the topic, some semi-military dumbshit that was "assigned" to the platform pressed the wrong button axing half of the platform's feed.

It's nigh about time we remember the loss of the great person of the '00s web era: Aaron Swartz, a brilliant programmer, the co-founder of Reddit, who was killed by the US DOJ's Ortiz, for what, in modern terms, could be described as "scraping data to train an AI model". Not only that piece of shit killed him, but her husband, an IBM exec decided it's about right to dance on the bones of the departed fella with his inconsiderate and stupid gaslighting remarks.

Policies need change, the whole country needs change.
