3 things I learned designing a uniwidth font
@ekoranek at 17 px, the capital letter height lands exactly on a whole pixel boundary, so the top and bottom edges of uppercase letters don’t need antialiasing to approximate a sub-pixel position — they’re already there.
17px is the sweet spot for Unifora and Innovator Grotesk. At that size, capitals land exactly on the pixel grid.
I pre-calculated other sizes where the same thing happens, each paired with a matching line height.
