TASA(Taiwan Space Agency) has recently released five images captured by FORMOSAT-8. According to TASA, the image resolution met the originally designed 1m resolution. This is a great improvement over FORMOSAT-5’s 2m resolution

Taiwan's population distribution is highly concentrated in the northern part of the island. This dense distribution is clearly mapped across latitude and longitude lines.
