Let's bug things out :P
The way governance currently works in the Rust project is (yet again) in a broken state, resulting in project wide decisions without proper process or consensus, which results in people getting hurt. The sooner the new council is formed the better (https://github.com/rust-lang/rfcs/pull/3392).
Add RFC on governance, establishing the Leadership Council by jntrnr · Pull Request #3392 · rust-lang/rfcs

This RFC was jointly authored by @jntrnr (Core), @joshtriplett (Lang Team Lead), @khionu (Moderation), @Mark-Simulacrum (Core Project Director, Release Lead), @rylev (Core Project Director), @techn...

Many folks asked me about this, so I wrote a statement on why I resigned from working on Rust:

Oh fun, I found a bug in Android's eSIM handling! Which means none of my SIM cards now work, and trying to erase them re-triggers the bug. Any Android Googlers want to take a look? A com.google.android.flib.log.WhatATerribleException exception is involved (yes really).
A nice bit of Rust programming to finish off the Friday. I'm writing a stability test application for my work. I'm getting better at Rust. Maybe I'll make something with it. A game? Embedded system?

President Biden cites facts that white supremacy terror is America’s greatest domestic security threat—and MAGAs lose their minds.

Here’s the thing.

I’m Muslim. I don’t feel attacked when people condemn the Taliban because Taliban do not represent Muslims and I proudly take the lead in condemning Taliban terrorism.

If you’re MAGA white and feel personally attacked when Biden condemns white supremacy terror—you are absolutely telling on yourself.
