The industrial military complex is using AI in warfare and it's absolutely terrifying! While US law may rule in favor of no-autonomous usage of AI in battle, other nation states may not follow suit. The rise of the machines is now becoming a very real possibility though be it in, very likely to be, a far different way than the Terminator franchise' spin on the story.. and of course all time-travel fantasies aside.

Hey don't forget to check out my latest blog post where I talk about some of the new "online safety" bills being introduced in 2026. I know these are **framed** as being created to protect children, but I can almost guarantee that all they will do is break your encryption, destroy your privacy, and ruin anonymity online for journalists, activists, and whistleblowers while also potentially actually putting the data of children at increased risk of being stolen in data breach. I can also almost guarantee that criminals will use fake identifications and scape goats to continue harming whomever they please without any increased risk to them vs now.

Publishing so many posts today but not talking about the one thing that's truly been on my mind for the last 9 months bothered me, it just didn't feel right to not even give her so much as a mention.

I decided to break the silence and finally write about my #grief and how I'm trying to move forward with my #life after the #loss of my partner. So I'm just going to drop this here and go cry for a little while longer while I try to pull myself together again after facing my trauma head on while writing this one.
