On a much lighter note than most things I've posted as of late, I visited the Stavkirke on Washington Island. Due to the island's history of Norwegian immigration, the local ELCA church built a replica of one built in Norway in 1150.

It's awe-inspiring. If you are ever near Door County, Wisconsin, go.
