Switching points of view can open new storytelling possibilities.

Try first-person for intimacy: “I couldn’t breathe as he approached.”
Use third-person for broader scope: “She froze, her breath caught as he approached.”

In other news, LibreOffice is also free, doesn't have ads, and lets you save your documents wherever you want. I use it every day for my work. It is available here:
