Mustang Software's last hoorah released as the WWW ushered in the sunset of dial-up BBSes, WIN Server added TCP/IP to the Wildcat! dial-up BBS software allowing users to connect via telnet, HTTP or their custom Navigator client.
Navigator - available for 16-bit and 32-bit Windows - could make dial-up or IP connections to a WIN Server system.

Got a domain setup and SQL Server 4.2 installed. It seems there was a dearth of apps for this version of NT. Even the 32-bit versions of Word 6.0 and Excel 5.0 require at least NT 3.5.
Next I need a few clients.
It's alive!
Removing the motherboard revealed that the CPU wasn't seated properly. Reseating it solved everything. Now the system is running #BeOS 4.5.2 with the Gobe Productive 2.0 office suite.
I'm delighted.
This beautiful stranger showed up at my door on Thursday. But sadly, she doesn't boot. So I'll be spending this evening figuring out why and hopefully fixing the problem. Wish me luck.
