#UMKA-1 is transmitting #SSTV today and tomorrow to celebrate 3 years in orbit. #amateurradio
Got a really great decode! Tonight's transmission went off at the TCA 74Β° and was nice and loud. I also improved this mornings decode by fixing some linux audio settings. Super stoked! #sstv #amateurradio
Finally captured a transmission from SAKHACUBE-CHOLBON (RS18S) cubesat I could decode! There is another pass late tonight before the Sakha Republic’s Children's Day celebration ends. I'm happy with it as the antenna I'm using isn't a perfect match for the frequency and it's my first attempts using #sdrpp with #Gpredict. #amateurradio #sstv
Actually got a good one. Tried something different with the antenna. #sstv #robot36 #amateurradio
One "good" capture at 11:30 UTC, I heard another but my antenna was orientated wrong. #sstv #amateurradio
Received a couple of #sstv transmissions from UMKA-1 at my front doorstep just before 10:00 UTC. It's transmitting on 437.625 MHz until 23:59 UTC this evening. #amateurradio
I was just about to change over to meshcore, then someone took a #meshtastic node to Goat Fell on Arran today and I could see nodes right across the Central Belt. I could do with one being up there permanently. #lora #amateurradio
My first and last #sstv decodes from last night. Everything else was just partials. Really happy with the last one I captured. #ariss_sstv #iss
U-2 spy plane went over a couple of hours ago at 60,000ft. #adsb #dragonlady "Snoop on to them... As they snoop on to us"

There were further contacts and the range went out to 298nm yesterday evening. I've added the range at 40000ft to my map and I don't have anywhere near that with line of sight to the SE.

So I'm thinking misconfiguration or tropospheric ducting. Forecasts suggest the latter was marginal to fair to the SE of me yesterday evening.

I've turned on #tar1090 on my laptop and increased the history to 24 hours, just in case it happens again, I can identify the plane. #adsb ✈️ πŸ“‘ πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
