Wisconsin Watch voluntarily recognizes NewGuild union - Wisconsin Examiner

The board and Wisconsin Watch leader agreed Friday to extend voluntary recognition to the union, which is affiliated with The NewsGuild-CWA.

Wisconsin Watch becomes state’s newest unionized news outlet

MADISON/MILWAUKEE — Employees of the investigative news outlet Wisconsin Watch were voluntarily recognized Friday (Nov. 3) by the nonprofit’s board of directors and chief executive officer as the newly formed Wisconsin Watch Union.

UPDATE: On Thursday we met with @WisconsinWatch CEO @geostanley and presented our written proposal on behalf of our members and @newsguild. We are currently working through some details before he takes it to the board of directors next week. We hope to have an update to share soon.
