NEW SINGLE (!!)
'Hello There, Sunshine'
Jon Bernys
New Evening Isle Inc. 2026
Probably the most simple musical work of my life. I channeled all the grief I had in my body and tried to manifest it musically using no more than two chords that I know invoke grief in me. This is a composition all about grief with a very special twist at the end.
Thank you!

Excited to share and announce some very high quality recordings of sculptor Carl Andre performing his poetry (visuals included!) Some of the best examples I can find of poems with a solid balance of visual concrete poetry and phonetic sound poetry.

Another great poem that has returned to my mind often since stumbling it for the first time. From the collection "The Hocus-Pocus of the Universe" by Laura Gilpin.
I actually did a full audiobook of this collection. If you want to listen, the link to that is at

It is with enormous honor that I present my newest podcast titled “What Makes a Man Live Only for Poetry?” featuring the wonderful linguist and scholar David Crystal! We discuss in this podcast the enormous amount of poetry and even more poetic life of one John Bradburne.

Since realizing how few people can afford access to MS Office, I have decided to publish a PDF of my Spanish/Quechua to English translations of 3 poems by José María Arguedas to MediaFire as well. It seemed to have been pretty well received and of course I want as many people as possible to access my work:
VERY interesting take and one of the most weirdly inspiring things I've ever read. It reminds me so much of this quote by the Renaissance artist Michelangelo:
"The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it"
In my newest installment of my poetry lecture series, we take a deep dive into the obscure history-poem artform unofficially titled “cricket poetry” - a phenomenon scholars have noticed of a long history of the artform of poetry and the sport of cricket complimenting each other in a conceptual relationship that spans over 3 centuries!
(can you spot the Pink Floyd easter eggs in this lecture?)
