WELL THIS IS EXCITING!
After years of having an absolute blast working on other people's winter skills courses, I've decided it's finally time to run my own!
The first one will be based in Glencoe, between 26th-28th January and I cannot wait!

More about the course: https://www.arranwildwalks.com/blog/2023/10/31/winter-skills-weekends

If this course is popular, I hope to offer more like it, and if you've got a small group already, and these dates don't suit you, get in touch so I can sort something out that does!

@[email protected] I have just discovered they haven't charged me anything for gas since february so they are going to have to send me a lot more cute animals than that along with the bill
@kityates these are alarming numbers!
It would be interesting to compare with the UK. Does a more secular society believe more or less in this stuff? And also why are vampires so much less believed in than demons?!

The production of new plastics is also a HUGE problem for the climate.

99% of plastic is made from fossil fuels and plastic production could DOUBLE within the next 10-15 years, and TRIPLE by 2050 if the industry has its way.

We need a strong #PlasticsTreaty to turn off the tap.

Arresting the person who is trying to save our planet for protesting against the people who knowingly are destroying it seems ludicrous, but that's the idiotic world we live in. I'm a non apologetic supporter of #gretathunberg she is doing what more of us should be doing. #climatechange #climatecrisis https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-london-67136772

@officehippy congratulations! I was following along with the tracker and the chatter on whatsapp :) *what* has happened to your calf?!

@sianberry hi Sian, I'm sorry I didn't get to say hello at the Conference in person. It was an inspiring few days! I wrote a piece for @CentralBylines - https://centralbylines.co.uk/politics/the-green-party-conference-2023/

I wanted to say if you're maintaining a list of canvassing volunteers for your bid for Brighton Pavillion, please add me to it. I'm in Windsor but always happy to visit Brighton and would like to help out.

I am just filling in the paperwork to stand for us in Maidenhead

I recently volunteered for #Oxfam at the brilliant Beautiful Days festival in Devon and wrote this peice Twenty years of Beautiful Days https://centralbylines.co.uk/twenty-years-of-beautiful-days/ about if for Bylines Networks @CentralBylines

@[email protected] Kate I'm a regular visitor to your National Grid feed. So many times have I used it to prove to the local sceptics that renewables aren't some niche thing. Anyway it's the Mozilla Observatory page that's the latest eye opener. I thought I'd have this covered as you do but my site scored an F! So thanks for the heads up!
