iOS App Library needs custom groups!
App Store’s broad categories do not match how users think about their apps.

An example from my device: ‘other’ group clearly needs a custom ‘smart home’ group to clean things up.

Real shame that SF Symbols do not display correctly in iOS Notes.app as nicely as they do on Mac.

Could let Notion curious folks scratch the customization itch within Notes natively without having to purchasing icon packs.

Wish I could turn this NHL playoff tracker from Apple News into a widget. News offers widgets for topics, but that only shows articles. Not scores.

And their Sports app does not offer any widgets. 🤦‍♂️

Why is Genmoji not available in Reminders?

Our family grocery list could really use a pop of color and whimsey. The standard emoji food set covers a lot, but it makes those items without a graphic look more lonely.

Finally got around to logging my Apple Store visits in the Facades app by @michaelsteeber. Charming design! Enjoyed scrolling through store timelines, photos and grand opening gifts. Such a treasure trove for Apple nerds.

My standouts are: Carrousel du Louvre, Covent Garden, Fifth Avenue and two grand openings.

As the month of March nears, it is my annual reminder that the world needs a thoughtfully designed app for #MarchMadness 🏀 brackets.

Back in 2013 the @studioneat team graced us with Simple Bracket. IMO, a high mark. Just let us have fun with coworkers and friends without shoving live game streams, gambling or other add-ons.

I take a LOT of screen shots and annotate with shape outline to focus attention on a bit of UI. Does anyone know if iOS 17 settings can save preferred default colors and shape?
