I’ve been wanting a little music player thingy for a while, but I’m also painfully aware of how easy it is for me to deep dive a hobby and leave it in a drawer. So, when the tariff shenanigans improved I snagged this inexpensive Snowsky Echo Mini. It’s not perfect, but as an impulse purchase it was exactly what I needed. I threw a bunch of old MP3s on it, and snagged a few FLACs from Bandcamp to push it. My Chu 2 IEMs work great, and I’ll get to test the battery life on an international flight soon. ☺️

We went camping over the weekend. It was nice to forget how awful the world is right now. Yearning for the solitude of the dunes, the sound of birds welcoming a new day, and the crash of waves against the shore once more.

Asked ChatGPT how to survive and thrive in the Great Depression. It didn’t hold back.

Decorated the work laptop finally. Saved some space for more stickers, but happy to get to stick these to something. ☺️

Let’s go cozy games. I got through 2016-2020 with Animal Crossing, and this time it’s Disney Dreamlight Valley. Thankfully this thing has 2 expansions now. 🥳

Spent a couple days in Edinburgh recently. The view was rather special.

The first leg of my holiday trip is almost complete. Our flight home is delayed, but should be arriving soon. It was good to see my wife’s family again even if the HVAC did try to freeze dry me. A couple days of downtime, then I’m off to Scotland.
