I’ve been playing with Claude Code to streamline writing product requirements documents and moving those to epics in Jira. I wrote a skill to pull in Figma and Confluence references and I’ve been exporting meeting transcripts as Markdown to give it more context. It then outputs a draft in our company’s PRD format and marks anything it made up as Speculative. I heavily edit and confirm everything isn’t completely hallucinated, and then I have another skill that uses Atlassian’s MCP to create the Epic in our Jira board.
Part of me hates myself for using AI so heavily, and the other part is impressed I’m able to make it work. Either way, it’s made taking a ton of data and boiling it down a lot easier. My peers do similar things with NotebookLM and Gemini, but I wanted to play within an IDE and CLI more.
