If we want people to self-host, we should really be making self-hosting a hell of a lot easier and more approachable instead of lamenting anyone who uses Google or whatever.

"Just self-host" might as well be "just grow a second head and fly to Mars" with how hard it is for 99.99% of people.

The iPad mini iPadOS 26 windowing experience feels very much like "You asked for this! Let's see how you like it now, you idiot!"

If this iPad mini had an M-series chip, ProMotion, and could use external display mode? That would be an incredible pocket computer, like holy shit.

As of right now, you probably shouldn't ever use this mode. If you relied on splitscreen and slideover before, though, that's a problem…
