Mastodon provides a similar user experience to twitter but it's still centralized in the same way email is centralized, even though servers can talk to each other. What we really need is a social media that uses #Ethereum

My main fear is that Mastodon becomes super popular before such a thing exists.
Not to give the wrong idea, I like Mastodon, it's clearly better than Twitter. But some sort of distributed microblogging site would be better
