An exhausted anarchist and school abolitionist.
Queer, non-binary, pansexual ace.

[Using they/them in English is good, but pick something in other languages and stick with it. I'm not fussed.]

Posts dominantly in English, aber ich kann ein bisschen deutsch, a trochu rozumiem po slovensky. Potrei tollerare di leggere l'italiano, but don't ask me to write it too much.

Actually, I feel like adding in the ad's final tagline of "the world may never know" improved it, so here's another version.
Fuck it, may as well.

My partner sent me this, which is in our local paper.

  • "goods worth tens of euros" (... sorry, you're worried about double-digit numbers, shop that definitely rakes in a profit on marking prices up and gouging customers?)

  • "knowing they won't go to jail" (good. why should they?)

  • "open looting" (where??? I shop in this country quite a bit and have never seen anyone openly looting. [even if I have seen it, no I haven't. but I genuinely haven't seen it.] wtf are they talking about?)

  • maybe if slovakia didn't keep running people into the fucking ground with largely stagnated/decreasing wages, increasing costs in everything, increasing taxes, increasing costs for the "public" health insurance (that is run by three private companies)... they wouldn't have this problem.

  • reflection is so hard for those at the top, I guess.

I love this little monster (her name is Lucy) so much, even if she refuses to let me help her by cutting the fluff between the pads on her paws so she doesn't slam into the wall or door because she... can't stop and slides into them when zooming around.
Ah... chopsticks? What exactly should I beware of when using you? 🤔
I love these two little monsters. They are the cuddliest sweethearts.
    A cat and her fish.

Courtesy of Slovak PM Robert Fico, I am now learning that competition is when you have *one* party and not a hundred: https://spectator.sme.sk/politics-and-society/c/news-digest-fico-wants-europe-to-take-lessons-from-uzbekistan

(For the record, this is effectively two parties? But Hlas split from Smer, both claim to be socdems, but their third coalition party is a bunch of nazis who continue the tradition of nazis who get mad when you call them what they are.)

I was walking around, reading my book and not paying attention, when these ducks decided that they'd quack at me to let me know they were there... which startled me because I was not expecting any ducks to be there because... there are almost never any ducks here.
The day before, The Slovak Spectator (English side of SME) had this in their news digest, which was also very fun to decipher:
