Happy #Pride to everyone!!!!
Let this month be one where we speak the loudest. A lot of the legislation trying to be passed right now is to silence us and take away LGBTQIA+ rights, so it is important to speak up about what we want to be protected.

Do not be afraid to speak up and share LGBTQIA+ issues that you are relevant right now.

Do not be afraid to correct people when they make insensitive or hateful comments against LGBTQIA+ people

Do not be afraid to share your role models and personal experiences

Today marks Pansexual Visibility Day (also known as Pansexual and Panromantic Awareness and Visibility Day). It was created to increase the visibility of people who can experience sexual, romantic or emotional attraction towards people regardless of their biological sex or gender identity. These are two terms that not everyone might be conscious of so an awareness and visibility day such as this is really important. So what do these two terms mean?

#Pansexual people – people who are attracted to others regardless of their gender identity or biological sex.

#Panromantic people – people who are romantically (not necessarily sexually) attracted to others regardless of their gender identity or biological sex.

It’s important to remember that being a pansexual or a pan romantic person doesn’t define all of a person. It’s just one aspect of them. But it’s an important part to understand and respect. Difference and diversity is what makes the world a fascinating place to be a part of. #PansexualVisibilityDay

Winners refuse to see obstacles as one solid wall, but as a collection of small inconveniences. They are able to exhibit higher levels of persistence thanks to their upbeat outlook. Long after others have given up hope, winners still envision a good outcome. #MotivationalMonday
As a member of the #LGBTQ+ community, we are sometimes met with strong oppositions towards our lifestyle and preferences. We feel sad, tired, and overwhelmed sometimes, and it’s normal. Self-care is important because, while it’s normal to have to deal with negative emotions, it’s not normal to have to live with them day by day without some sort of respite. This #SelfCareSunday, sharing this article from Queer in the World. Keep your head up, take heart, and care for yourself.
Every year on 21st of May, the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development is an occasion to promote culture and highlight the significance of its diversity as an agent of inclusion and positive change.
