Uk born but European by heart. A bit of a magpie, I'm currently nesting in Derbyshire but am always happiest in the wind, wandering and wondering.

I'm interested in most things. Always busy inventing, making, growing or just doing something.

Main passions: gardening, bonsai, #textileart, #embroidery, #felting, #cyanotyping, sculpture (wood, stone, clay, cement), live music, history, travel.

Apologies for so many photos, today and in general... I have Aphantasia which means the inside of my head is a dark cave full of words and smells and a lot of music but no images, not a single one 😪
My camera is my visual memory - I take pictures of everything I want to recall. Sometimes I share one ot two... or three or four.... out of the 100s that I take, and I like it when other people enjoy those "memories" too.

#windowFriday the glorious bombée glass windows in the Long Gallery at Haddon Hall. Made from tinted medieval venetian glass each set of 4 diamonds are leaded together to form a pyramid. This lets in more light during the day and caused the windows to glow and sparkle at night when back lit with candles ✨️
