Sugar Labs has 11 Google Summer of Code interns for 2024. Details to follow.

Hello, we're Sugar Labs.

Sugar is an activity-focused, free/libre open-source software learning platform for children. Collaboration, reflection, and discovery are integrated directly into the user interface. Through Sugar's clarity of design, children and teachers have the opportunity to use computers on their own terms. Students can reshape, reinvent, and reapply both software and content into powerful learning activities and experiences.

Fedora 38!!!

No more going to the command line or searching how to enable Flathub. In Fedora 38, you can enable all of Flathub, unfiltered, as a third-party repo right out of the box.

You still have to opt-in if you want it, but it should be right there for you as you start an installation or check your settings in Gnome Software.

Hoping that makes Linux easier for our less technical users who want to avoid the terminal! 🙏

Wrote a Rubik's Cube program in Music Blocks for my grandson. He will add the musical components so he can hear what it sounds like to solve a cube.
Some turtle art. An old math puzzle: tiling the surface of a square with right triangles (red), obtuse triangles (green), and acute triangles (blue). The gray lines are "proof" that the blue triangles are acute.
