A search for a 30-year-old Binghamton man who fled on foot in the Town of Caroline, east of Ithaca, after authorities followed him from Broome County, was "scaled back" overnight according to the Tompkins County Sheriff's Office. "Residents in the area are asked to remain diligent of their surroundings," says Sheriff Derek Osborne.
